Frontpage 2000

Hello,

I'm an amateur web-author and might predict that those interested in this software have minimum skills in hand coding html or similar

First, I finally figured out how to use the software and a very much like it to the point where I am highly likely to purchase it and will likely purchase the menu program as well.

I did have a few difficulties, one of which nearly caused me to abandon the software in favor of another vendor.

I am using Frontpage 2000 and shared borders (which I appeciate is a tad outdated, but it works well enough for me) and after hours of trial and error, I finally figured out that the first part (code that goes into the header) needs to be in both the 'left.htm' and the 'index.html' and all other content pages in order for the program to work. Moreover, the two statements must agree with each other. I'm not sure if simply having put this part into the 'top.htm' file would have been sufficient. And I don't know if Frontpage 2003 behaves differently. It might be helpful to make this requirement explicit or put in a faq for FP 2000.

Otherwise, it took me several months of admitted half-hearted searching to know what to call this particular webfeature. I tried 'directory', 'file folder tree', cascading menu, and a few other google.

Otherwise, I like it so far.
